Raffaele Giusepponi, born in Spoleto (Umbria), left Italy for the Netherlands. He left his Italian family of truffle hunters behind in Umbria, but took the passion for truffles with him to the Netherlands. Tartuvino was born from that same passion. Driven by love for the "black gold" and aided by our Italian roots, we offer the highest quality fresh truffle. We do this through a unique formula: the truffles are found in the morning and shipped the same day. One day later you bring the truffle home. Due to the very short lines with its own family, Tartuvino supplies this fresh and pure delicacy for a fair and attractive price.

Niels de Pender met Raffaele during their student years. "When I first went truffle hunting in Umbria, I was immediately hooked. The passion that a truffle hunter shares with their dog is admirable. It is remarkable to witness how nature is the sole source for the truffles.  As soon as we returned from the mountains, the truffles were packaged and shipped. What remained was used by nonna to make pasta for the entire family. Family, nature, and delicious food - in Italy, they know exactly how to enjoy life. With Tartuvino, we aim to bring this passion to the Netherlands."
